The National Technological Olympiad is an annual competition for industry-specific engineering profiles.
The space industry is represented by three profiles:
- Satellite systems (satellite engineering, microcontroller programming, radio engineering, circuitry, celestial mechanics)
- Aerospace systems (on-planet robotics, development of control algorithms in ROS environment, design)
- Analysis of space images and geospatial data (processing and analysis of space images, work in geoinformation systems, programming)
Who can participate | Pupils of schools of grades 8-11 according to the Russian classification (or their equivalent in the corresponding national classification) of any country of the world, speaking Russian language |
Cost of participation | Free of charge, including travel and accommodation (for participants from outside Russia, it is recommended to obtain a corresponding confirmation from the organizers in advance) |
Holding period | November 2023 - March 2024 |
End of registration and first round | November 6, 2023 |
Format of the event | Qualifying (first) round - online, individual, profile subject assignments and engineering round
Second round - online, team - tasks on the profile topic and in simulations Final stage - face-to-face, at the venue (depends on the profile), engineering team project |
Venue | Single consolidated final of all space profiles in 2024 - Altair Technopark, Russian Technological University - MIREA, Moscow. |
