The grand opening of the final of the Orbit International Space Tournament took place in Verkhnyaya Pyshma near Yekaterinburg.
The opening ceremony started with raising the flags of the participating countries and speeches of the tournament organizers:
Ilya Ovchinnikova is Head of Development at Education of the Future and Program Manager,
Valentin Prokopyev - General Director of the Ekaterinburg Planetarium,
as well as Svetlana Mikhailova, head of the children's technopark "Quantorium" in Verkhnyaya Pyshma.
Participating teams:
Our participants were given a tour of the Yekaterinburg Planetarium.
Valentin Prokopyev, the world parachuting champion and brother of the test cosmonaut Sergey Prokopyev, showed us interesting exhibits of the museum and also took out a meteorite for us, with the help of which the guys made wishes.
