The winners of the Stratospheric Satellite-2024 program have been announced
On July 7, the Museum of Cosmonautics in Moscow hosted the closing ceremony of the final of the All-Russian scientific and engineering program "Stratospheric Satellite", supported by the State Corporation "Roscosmos".
During the week more than 30 schoolchildren and students from all over the country prepared experiments to conduct them in the stratosphere. The children also attended a lecture on stratospheric launches and went on an excursion to the Chernogolovka Observatory.
The satellites were launched on July 6 at the Kirzhach airship. Each team conducted an experiment - testing various technologies in conditions close to space. After the launch, the satellites returned to the teams, the guys processed the obtained data and prepared a final presentation with the results of their experiments.
With their presentations, the teams went to a public poster defense in the Museum of Cosmonautics, presenting the results of their work to experts and museum visitors.
Based on the teams' defenses, the winners were determined in two leagues: candidates and probationers.
The League of Candidates are participants who do not yet have their own space or stratospheric mission project, or are in the early stages of one.
