"Stratospheric satellite" was launched in Chernogolovka

More than 30 young scientists from all over the country gathered in Chernogolovka for the finals of the All-Russian scientific and engineering general development program for schoolchildren and students "Stratospheric Satellite".

For several days guys from 13 to 21 years old are working on the satellites, which will go into the stratosphere on July 6.

On the first day the participants attended a lecture on stratospheric launches by Denis Efremov, CEO of Stratonautica, where they learned all about quality preparation for flights.

Excursions to the Chernogolovka Observatory, the Military Technical Museum and the Space and Aviation Center are ahead of the participants. And, of course, there is serious work to be done: assembly, programming, weighing of structures, preparation and launching of satellites.

On the final day, July 7, the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics at VDNKh will host the defense of projects and the closing ceremony of the program.
