On April 4-5, 2025, Omsk will host Regional Underwater Robotics Competitions

The Regional Underwater Robotics Competition is a team competition dedicated to current problems of the World Ocean. This year, participants will have to explore shipwreck sites, install specialized sensors for environmental analysis, repair solar panels and research stations, and collect water and DNA samples to study natural diversity. This season will also continue to build and deploy robotic buoys to solve ocean exploration challenges.

The organizer of the event is Omsk State Pedagogical University" Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Omsk State Pedagogical University"

The competition is divided into two categories:

•  The Navigator category is middle school students (grades 5-8). 
•  The Scout category is junior high school students (grades 1-4).

The winners of the Scout and Navigator categories will represent their county at the XI All-Russian Underwater Robotics Competition in Vladivostok in May 2025.

Scout category winners also qualify for the All-Russian competition, provided they are winners of the competition "Immersive Underwater Robotics 2024-2025"
