The qualifying stage of the All-Russian program "Stratospheric Satellite" started

"Stratosatellite" is a program for those schoolchildren and students who develop microsatellites or want to learn how to do so. The teams that make it to the finals of the competition will receive satellite constructors. The task of the participants is to come up with an experiment they want to realize in space and to realize it "in hardware". At the final stage, the teams will have to send their vehicles into the stratosphere to a height of about 25 kilometers.

There are three leagues to participate in the program:
- The Stratonaut Candidate League is for those just trying their hand at space systems development
- The Stratonaut Experimenter league is for experienced teams who have already worked their experiment for the stratosphere
- The Stratonaut Research League is for experienced stratonauts who have previously successfully realized their experiments in the stratosphere and continue to work on them.

Applications can be submitted until May 20. The final of the program will be held between June 23-30 in the Moscow Region science city of Chernogolovka.
