On April 5, 2025, Perm will host Regional Underwater Robotics Competitions

The regional underwater robotics competition is a team competition dedicated to current problems of the World Ocean. This year, participants will explore shipwreck sites, install specialized sensors to analyze the state of the environment, repair solar panels and research stations, and collect water and DNA samples to study natural diversity. This season will also continue to build and deploy robotic buoys to solve ocean exploration challenges.

The organizer of the event is "Favorit" Children and Youth Center.

The competition is divided into two categories :

• UNGA category - preschoolers, 1st grade (regional stage only). 
• The Scout category is junior high school students (grades 1-4).

Scout category winners will represent their district at the XI All-Russian Underwater Robotics Competition in Vladivostok in May 2025.

Scout category winners also qualify for the All-Russian competition, provided they are winners of the competition "Immersive Underwater Robotics 2024-2025"
