Let's go to Tatarstan: the seventh superfinal of the All-Russian space program "Planet Duty" will be held in the republic
The superfinal of the All-Russian program in the sphere of space technologies "Planet Duty" will be attended by 120 children from all over Russia.
At the moment the selection of 7 competitions of the program has been completed. In total, more than 9,000 applications were submitted from 89 regions of Russia. The participants are school and college students aged 14-17. The superfinal for the winners will be the space shift, which will again be held in the Republic of Tatarstan. The event will be held from March 30 to April 13 on the basis of the regional center for work with gifted children and youth University of Talents, as in the past year. Recall, the shift 2023/2024 was also held in the Republic.
Competitions for the 2024/2025 program are along the lines of:
1. Space robotics - rovers;
2. Orbit - Space Pi: space applications and satellite control;
3. Space Automatic Object Identification and Artificial Intelligence;
4. Terra Notum;
5. Digital forester;
6. Operational satellite monitoring;
7. Manned cosmonautics. Samara University.
At the superfinal, the participants will unite into teams within each competition area. During the shift they will have to solve real problems and realize space projects under the guidance of experienced experts.
The guys who won prizes will receive valuable prizes from the organizers, as well as:
● Additional points for the USE;
They will receive up to 10 points to the USE for individual achievements from specialized universities of the country.
The opportunity to apply for grants from the President of the Russian Federation;
Awardees will be included in the State Information Resource on Persons of Outstanding Ability. They will then be able to apply for a grant.
● Opportunity to participate in the programs of the Sirius Educational Center;
The children will be able to participate in scientific events at Sirius, including internships in the divisions of the Talent and Success Foundation and resident companies of the Sirius Science and Technology Center.
● A chance to go to Artek;
The winners will get a chance to go to the thematic shift "Innoshkolnik" in Artek.
The organizers of the "Duty on the Planet" program are the Foundation for Promotion of Innovations, Roscosmos State Corporation, Talent and Success Foundation, Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan and Talent University.
