The competition "Orbit - Space Pi: applied space systems and satellite control" invites schoolchildren of 7-11 grades to feel themselves real space engineers.

This year, participants will design their own science missions based on CubeSat 3U format satellites, integrate their experiments as payloads aboard the satellite, program the sensors and other onboard systems of the spacecraft, and then test a working prototype vehicle for their mission during a launch into the stratosphere at altitudes up to 24 km.

The teams will also have to build their own transceiver stations, with the help of which they will receive and analyze telemetry from real satellites, already launched earlier into space under the Space Pi program, and also the guys will be able to apply the acquired skills for their own satellites when launching into the stratosphere.
